iBurst release the 2 Megabyte Desktop Modem

iBurst released new packages on 1st October 2011.
There are month-month packages for those customers who are already using iburst and or who may have an iBurst modem but currently not active on the network.
There are 24 month packages for new customers who currently are considering iBurst as a Broadband package and these contracts include a new modem.
iBurst have also released there new 2 Megabyte Desktop modem that could potentially provide you with a download speed of over 200kbps.

USB Power Turned Off

Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7 USB ports not working ?
Windows XP and Vista including Windows 7 has a habit of turning the power off to your USB devices ?
This is a common problem that is experienced by many customers.
Windows by default is allowed to save power by turning the power off to the USB ports.
The solution to the problem is straight forward.
Turn off the Power Management to the USB ports and your computers network adapter cards.
The ethernet wifi and bluetooth devices power will be affected if left unchecked.
How do I do this you may ask.
- Goto your Control panel and then
- Click on System and then Hardware and then
- Device Manager.
- Turn off the Power Management to the various devices by
- Unchecking the Power Management as indicated below.
- Remember to Uncheck the Power Management to your USB ports too.
- The reason for this is that some customers only use the USB port on the iBurst modem.
- Make sure you have applied the settings to every USB Root hub.

iBurst Modem not detected by Windows

Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7 breaks your iBurst connection from one day to the next ?
This is a common problem that is experienced by many iBurst broadband customers.
