Logitech G27 NFS Shift and iBurst ADSL or 3G

by computerwiz on Oct.19, 2009, under Computer Wiz - Blog, PlayStation 3 on iBurst

Yes the new Logitech G27 racing wheel has arrived for NFS Shift.

Now you can experience the ultimate driving simulation by introducing your Logitech G27 and NFS Shift entertainment

by combining all this to  a broadband connection and playing online against your mates.

The Logitech G27 is compatible with your PS3 and your computer but not with the XBOX.

My Playstation 3 is connected to an iBurst broadband connection at home.

The broadbands available for connecting your PS3 or computer to the internet are

iBurst is the most cost effective broadband available when selecting the Giga package @ R239pm flat rate..

If you decide on an ADSL connection you require a working telephone line. A prepaid or waya-waya  line does not qualify

as Telkom requires you to pay for your telephone line and your ADSL port a total cost of about R280 which excludes your cap.

A 3G Vodacom connection could work but the latency is much higher on 3G than it is on iBurst and then we wont mention the price of 3G

but hey if this is the only broadband that is available in your area then yes computer wiz will get you connected by supplying you with  a Vodacom 3G or iBurst 3G connection.

Please dont be confused about the iBurst 3G connection as iBurst also sell 3G as Vodacom owns 10% of iBurst if memory serves me correct.

Just remember that the router is a requirement if you use 3G as a BROADBAND connection for your PS3.logitech-g27-racing-wheel_3
