ADSL 3G IBURST WIMAX so many choices to decide on the best Internet access.

ADSL requires a telephone line.

3G is wireless but expensive  and at times you may be disapointed with the service.

iBurst is a wireless broadband connection and yes you must be within the iBurst footprint to make use of the service.

WIMAX a QOS or quality of service wireless broadband connection. Coverage is also somewhat limited.

Twenty four month contract of pay as you go?

Mweb offers a month to month ADSL connection @ R145pm for the 1st 6 months then R199 pm thereafter and this includes a free network locked adsl router. This is not too bad if you prefer the adsl internet broadband connection starting at 384kbps.

If you must decide on a 3G wireless Vodacom vodafone HSDPA WCDMA or mtn wireless broadband connection then buy the modem up front and add the airtime or data bundles to the sim as you are then in control of your monthly or 60 day spend on this solution.

IBurst remains my 1st choice even if it is very limited in coverage. The connection is secure where nobody can use your bandwidth unless they have your modem and the username and password.
