Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7 breaks your iBurst connection from one day to the next ?
This is a common problem that is experienced by many iBurst broadband customers.
The solution to the problem is straight forward.
Turn off the Power Management to the USB ports and your computers network adapter cards.
The ethernet wifi and bluetooth devices power will be affected if left unchecked.
How do I do this you may ask.
- Goto your Control panel and then
- Click on System and then Hardware and then
- Device Manager.
- Turn off the Power Management to the various devices by
- Unchecking the Power Management as indicated below.
- Remember to Uncheck the Power Management to your USB ports too.
- The reason for this is that some customers only use the USB port on the iBurst modem.
